What can I say about Seinfeld that hasn’t already been said? For one, I can say that the nut on my guitar is still broken from last week, and I had to use a different instrument this time around. I can also say that I am not the bassist that I may one day like to be.
But even Jonathan Wolff, who wrote and performed the original Seinfeld titles (contrary to popular belief, it was not Les Claypool), told Noisey, in 2015, that he played the show’s ever-changing basslines on a synth, allowing him greater flexibility and range than most basses ever could. So I don’t feel too terrible about this.
